It is with a sad voice that I have to announce that Dance Jam Music is closing down. We have already requested that all releases be taken down from all online streaming and download sites, this should take a few weeks to complete but once done, the only place you can obtain the music of our former artists is via their BandCamp pages. We will leave this website up for a short period so that we can complete all required moving of domains and admin.
Dance Jam Music would like to thank all our customers and music lovers who have supported us over these many years.
Our Artists
Dean Marcel started DJ’ing back in 1985, when the House music scene started to take off here in the UK. His love of all things electronic and the classic 4/4 beat has driven his career over the decades.
CAP23 started producing music in 2018 with the idea of making music that he loves to listen too with no pressure. There was no requirement for the tracks to be used in a club environment.

25th June 2022“State of Mind” is the fifth studio album from electronic and Techno producer CAP23. This album continues the now familiar multi-genre theme. Including a good mixture of hard hitting Techno, rhythmic Drum and Bass and chilled out melodic tracks.
While the general theme of the album is on the darkness that follows the break down of a relationship, there are moments of light as we come to terms and push forward for a brighter future.
About the Album
The album opens with “Tokyo Sunrise“, a beautiful well crafted Drum n Bass track with strong oriental influences. Then we move into the dark twisted track that is “The Path to Exile” with the full length album version of this awesome Techno track. After this, everything changes towards the light with a few tracks that allow hope to shine through. Including the dreamy “Crepúsculo“, which has a Spanish guitar intro into a Drum n Bass rhythm escorted by a deep sub bassline. Later in the album we have “Reflections in a Mirror“, a down tempo Techno track which has a haunting feel to it. Finally we arrive into the final part of the album which completes with the deep emotional release of “The Path to Resolve“.
Mastering the Art
Not only are the tracks of this album of a seriously high quality, the production and mastering of each track shows just how far CAP23 has come over these past few years. Since the album is totally written, produced and mastered by CAP23, this is no easy achievement. In fact, he has hinted that his debut album “Digital Domain” will be remastered and re-released soon using the new knowledge learned.

20th April 2022The new 3 track Techno release “Exile EP” from CAP23 is now available on all major streaming and download services.
The latest release features a remix from Dean Marcel plus 2 other original banging Techno tracks. “The Path To Exile (Dean Marcel edit)” is a hard twisted hypnotic remix of one of the title tracks from the soon to be release 5th album. “Bantha” is a hard driving club monster that just hits all the right notes and is certain to get you moving while “Slice of Something” is the now infamous Acid Techno style of CAP23, with hard-line 303 sounds and twisted SAW synths. The whole EP is aimed at the club DJ but hardcore Techno fans will just love this.

23rd February 2021“Eternally Synced” is the fifth studio album from electronic and Techno producer CAP23. For this adventure we are taken to a world of nasty beats and dirty rhythms mixed together with acid overtones and hypnotic melodies. The album features a mixture of these dirty beats and hard hitting Techno tracks but for the first time, there is no Drum ‘n’ Bass track.
The album kicks off with the title track “Eternally Synced” which straight away pushes that dirty beats feel and hypnotic melodies. Moving into “Sunday Morning”, which is a melodic Techno track to get you ready for what is to come. This is followed by the nasty bassline of “Expectation of Noise”, which gets you ready for the Acid Techno monster that is “The Void”. You are then given a break from all that dirty noise with the emotionally led track that is “Solitary Confinement”. Written during lock down as a result of being house bound and all alone. However, the rest bite is not long lasting as the title track returns this time with a totally hypnotic version that is “Eternal Sync”. You are now heading into the final part of the adventure with a little groovy number called “Reset Resonance”. You have one final peak with the last Techno track on the album “Neutrino”. Finally to calm you down and bring you back to reality, “Liquid Dreams” just melts you into a steady state of mind.
Eternally Synced is available from February 23rd 2021 via all major download and streaming services plus it is also available to purchase from the CAP23 Band Camp page.

3rd December 2020We are proud to announce the brand new EP from Dean Marcel. “Let Me Tell You Now” features 3 tracks all on a Tech House feel and made to make you dance this coming festive season.
Let Me Tell You Now (Original Mix) is a good all 126bpm Tech House groove and features a famous sample from QT Quartet. Then there is the “Sucker Remix” of the same track which is 128bpm and far more hard edge, bordering on Hard House with a distinctive Techno kick and bassline. The final track is “Again and Again (2020 Mix)” what was first recorded back in 2018 but now gets its first release.

5th August 2020“Devotion, Obsession, Addiction” is the fourth studio album from electronic producer CAP23. As you may be able to tell from the album title, this one deals with the dark side of human emotions. It features 9 tracks and again these are a verity of genres but with a focus being on Techno.
During the making of the third album “I Alone”, CAP23 experienced a traumatic breakdown in his relationship with his fiancée. Afterwards finding himself in a deep dark place and only finding release from these feeling while in the studio recording music. The result from those sessions is shown on this latest album.
The opening track “Devotion” plays on deep dark emotions while setting the mode for the tracks to follow. “The Ghost In The Arp” pays a little respect to a well known Acid track from the 90’s by using the know famous 303 groove. Then moving into two driving Techno tracks, “Obsession” and “Cocaine” before breaking the 4/4 groove for the albums Drum and Bass number called “Addiction” which featured on the previous mini-album “The Drum and Bass Sessions”. The second half of the album brings your mode back into the light with the hypnotising track “Above Water”. This is followed by the frequency frenzy that is “Filter Pop” before we move towards the albums closing numbers which include the Dub grooved “Sunset In Koh Chang” and finally a beat less version of “Out From Water”.

20th June 2020With the announcement of the release of the fourth studio album from CAP23 entitled “Devotion, Obsession, Addiction”, which will be available in August 2020. We are pleased to announce the early release of a 3 track EP called “Cocaine”.
The EP has two remixes of the title track, “Quick Fix Mix” is a stripped down version of the album version, which “Crack Addiction Remix” is a more Acid Techno variant. The third track is the album version of “Obsession”.
The EP is due for general release on all the usual streaming and download sites at the beginning of July. However, it is now available on early release via the CAP23 Bandcamp page.

19th May 2020We are very pleased to announce that “Somewhere in between A & b“, the 2nd album from Dean Marcel will be released on all major download and streaming websites from the beginning of June 2020.
The album which features 9 dance floor tracks, 3 of which have never been released before. Deep House numbers featuring the vocal talents of Keiran Fowkes, plus a few Tech House tracks including the new “Sunnier Days” trancy little mover. Then of course there are the awesome driving Acid Techno tracks “9mm Beretta” and “You Don’t Know Me” which have been ripping up dance floors across the UK. The album also features “Bandwidth”, originally recorded in 2018 but given a fresh remix for this release. This track is in essence 2 Techno tracks in one and plays with you mind as it twists and turns.

3rd March 2020We are pleased to announce the general release of the 3rd album from CAP23. “I Alone” is an expression of the pain of a breakup from a relationship, in this case from a woman who was meant to be a future wife. The album is full of emotions, pain but also joy and happiness.
